Yggmira Vault Software Licence Terms
The terms for using Yggmira Vault and its proprietary application components.
1. Scope and transaction provider
These terms govern the licence to use Yggmira Vault itself and the proprietary application code and materials owned by Yggmira.
Where Yggmira Vault is purchased through Lemon Squeezy, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for the sales transaction. Payment, transaction taxes, checkout terms, receipts, refunds and chargebacks are handled under the applicable Lemon Squeezy buyer process and mandatory law.
These licence terms do not replace or reduce rights arising from the checkout terms or mandatory consumer law.
2. Licence grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Yggmira grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, perpetual right to install and use the purchased Yggmira Vault version for the purchaser's own personal or business use, subject to the activation limit stated with the product.
The current standard product model permits activation on up to three computers per licence unless a different limit is clearly stated for the purchased licence.
3. Ownership
Yggmira retains ownership of Yggmira Vault's proprietary source code, trademarks, branding and other proprietary materials. Purchase of a licence does not transfer ownership of the proprietary software.
4. Activation
A valid commercial licence may require device activation to enforce the purchased activation limit. After successful activation, Yggmira Vault is designed to remain usable offline. A temporary outage of Yggmira's licence service should not prevent use of an already valid offline activation.
5. Updates
The licence is perpetual for the purchased software version. The current commercial model includes software updates released during the purchased update-entitlement period, initially intended to cover 12 months from purchase unless otherwise stated at checkout.
After that period, the purchaser may continue using the last version to which the purchaser was entitled. Access to later releases may require a new update entitlement.
6. System requirements and functionality
Current supported and tested platforms, architecture and key functionality are described on the Yggmira Vault product page. Customers should review these requirements before purchase.
7. Backups and user data
The purchaser is responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of personal data and Yggmira Vault collections. Backup and export functions are provided as practical tools, but no single application should be treated as the only copy of important data.
8. Restrictions on proprietary components
Except where permitted by mandatory law or an applicable third-party licence, the purchaser may not redistribute, sell copies of, sublicense, rent out or deliberately bypass the commercial activation controls of Yggmira Vault's proprietary application.
This does not restrict lawful interoperability, security research, reverse engineering or other activities that cannot legally be prohibited.
9. Open-source components
Yggmira Vault includes third-party open-source components. Those components remain governed by their own licences, which take precedence for those components. Applicable licence texts and notices are distributed with the application.
Corresponding source information for the applicable release is available through Yggmira's source-information service.
10. Support and service availability
Yggmira will use reasonable efforts to operate the licence and update services needed for the product. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, no specific support response time or uninterrupted online-service availability is guaranteed.
11. Consumer and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights.
For digital content delivered immediately, any legally required consent and acknowledgement concerning the start of delivery and the right of withdrawal is handled in the checkout process.
12. Refunds and transaction disputes
Transaction-level refunds, payment disputes and chargebacks for purchases made through Lemon Squeezy are handled through the applicable Lemon Squeezy process and mandatory law. These software-licence terms do not create a separate “no refunds” policy.
13. Governing law
These software-licence terms are governed by Danish law, without removing mandatory protections that apply to consumers under law that cannot be waived by contract.
